Rain Falling Along I-95 Corridor; Could Complicate Commute

Rain could create dangerously slick conditions for drivers during the Monday morning commute.

Storm Team4 declared Monday morning a Weather Alert Day after a freezing rain advisory was issued effect for some areas far north and west of D.C. But that advisory was canceled early.

Most, if not all, of the rain will be over around noon, and there might even be a break or two of sunshine by mid-afternoon.

Temperatures will climb into the 40s Monday.

Another shot of arctic air arrives Wednesday afternoon. There could be a brief period of rain ending as snow.
