Scattered storms will kick off the weekend on Friday, and heavy rain is possible between peeks of sunshine.

Not everyone will get rain but those that do could see considerable rainfall at times.

You may want to leave some extra travel time today: Storms could pop up over the afternoon rush hour.

You can track the storms using the Storm Team4 radar.

Overall, there's an 60% chance of rain in your neighborhood. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

This front will gradually wash out over the weekend so rain chances will fall from 80% on Friday to 40% on Saturday and 30% on Sunday.
