East Coast “Blizzard” Unlikely

Rumors are swirling around social media of a snowstorm of epic proportions next week.

Storm Team4's Chief Meteorologist Doug Kammerer says: don't believe the hype.

The much-hyped "storm" is rumored during the latter part of next week, and is said to bring feet upon feet of snow to the East Coast.

Kammerer said there are several reasons this forecast is wrong. There are many models meteorologists use to forecast the weather, and only one is prediciting a snow storm of "epic" proportions -- the rest are not.

Kammerer also said it's unreliable to predict past a 7-day forecast, so forecasting snow during the latter part of next week is short-sighted.
