An arctic blast sent temperatures down to the 30s Tuesday and it's expected to get even colder overnight and into Wednesday morning.
Storm Team4 says some isolated snow showers and flurries will continue through the evening hours.
Wind chills were in the 20s and 30s Tuesday, but the winds will subside tonight.
Temperatures, however, will continue to drop and could go as low as the teens in some areas, Storm Team4 said.
By Wednesday morning, it will be near 25, with temps in the teens in the suburbs. The high temperature will be only in the mid- to upper 30s all day, and the wind chill will stay in the 20s.
Thursday is expected to be warmer, but still well below average, with a low of 28 and high of 47.
The high on Friday will be in the upper 40s to low 50s. Then it will be dry but much cooler, with highs in the 40s over the weekend.
