Storm Team4 Forecast: Saturday brings warmest temps this weekend and some showers

Storm Team4 has the weather forecast for D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia

NBC Universal, Inc.

4 things to know about the weather:

  1. Warmer today with a few afternoon showers (highest likelihood North of D.C.)
  2. Breezy afternoon and evening conditions
  3. Cooler Sunday with rain arriving late evening.
  4. Rain at times on Monday

Saturday’s sunshine comes with milder temperatures, which will climb into the 60s in the afternoon.

A few raindrops are possible in the afternoon. Rain is most likely north of D.C., Montgomery and Frederick counties, Maryland, and Loudoun County, Virginia, should expect some rain, but it won’t be a washout.

You'll notice the breeze picking up as a weather front approaches the region.

Sunday will be dry, and lots of sunshine is expected. But it will be cooler with morning temps in the 30s and highs in the 50s.

Rain is expected to arrive late Sunday night, then expect a fair amount of rain showers on Monday. We could really use all the rain because we've been so dry.
