4 things to know about the weather:
- Cold, flurries Tuesday
- Even colder Wednesday
- Less cold this weekend
- No "big snow" in sight
Arctic cold will dominate our weather for the next few days before any real moderation can take place.
For snow lovers, all of this cold air will go to waste with no significant chances for accumulating snow. Cloudy skies will deliver a few passing snow flurries Tuesday without any risk of travel issues or the need to break out the shovel. Our next chance for snow, and it's only a chance as of now, won't come until early next week.

While snow isn't a concern the cold is. Cloudy skies will keep afternoon highs in the low 20s Tuesday. Some overnight clearing will result in temperatures dropping into the single number by Wednesday morning with wind chills falling below 0°.
With that cold of a start, Wednesday will be the coldest day of the week. Many areas won't even reach 20°. The return of Southwest winds on Thursday will help us get back to around 30°. Cold, but not "AS" cold, weather will last into the weekend.
Slightly warmer temperatures for the weekend
Highs on Friday and Saturday should reach the mid-30s with plenty of sunshine to keep melting away our remaining snowpack. Temperatures will finally return to near average for Sunday and Monday, and we will be keeping an eye on next Tuesday to see if any snow chances start to materialize.
