Did you see the red sunset Saturday night?

On Sunday, the D.C. area will shake the very cold temperatures that have led to the coldest start to December in nearly 20 years.

While Saturday started and ended with cold temperatures, Sunday will be a different story. Temperatures will start out on the cooler side but will rapidly rise into the 50s and 60s.

The area has kept dry but you can expect rain on Monday morning and lingering throughout the day.

Temperatures will dip back down into the lower 50s on Monday before rising back up to 60 degrees on Tuesday. Wednesday will have heavy rain at times.
