Weekend work will affect trains on all six Metro lines.
Metro says that starting Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, Orange and Blue line trains will run every 20 minutes.
Red Line trains will operate every 12 to 24 minutes.
Silver Line trains will run between Wiehle Reston-East and East Falls Church stations only at regular weekend intervals.
On the Green Line, trains will operate at regular weekend intervals between Branch Avenue and College Park stations, but free shuttle buses will replace train service to and from the Greenbelt station.
On the Yellow Line, there will be regular weekend service between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square only, rather than to Fort Totten.
