Weekend Road Closures: See List of Changes for St. Patrick's Day Parade

It's a weekend of big events in downtown D.C., and with it comes (you guessed it) road closures.

Saturday's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Sunday's St. Patrick's Day Parade require closures.

On Saturday, no parking was permitted along the race course. The D.C. Department of Public Works towed 35 vehicles from major roads on the course and relocated them to the nearest legal space. No cars were impounded or ticketed, so there were no fines.

The race website has detailed info on road closures, freeway ramp closures and more here.

On Sunday, closures for the parade will begin as early as 9 a.m. and could continue until about 4 p.m. See the full list of expected closures here.
