The District Department of Transportation released an updated version of rideDC Trip Planner to be more user friendly.
The new version will be extra handy as commuters navigate the Metro’s SafeTrack program, the DDOT said in a statement.
“We received great feedback and interest from our users, and relied on that input to make the app better,” said DDOT Director Leif Dormsjo.
The app shows train and bus arrival times with bus locations on a map. It also includes information about Capital Bikeshare.
You can use a planner feature to figure out how to travel between two points using public transportation, or view transportation options with arrival times in a table.
You can download the new version for free on your iPhone or Android smartphone.
