Whether you want to look good or feel good, the First Class Inc. Lifelong Center (1726 20th St. N.W.) is offering a class that teaches shoppers how to get their bang for a buck.
This shopping awareness course, offered from 10:30 a.m. to noon this Saturday, Oct. 16th, will provide a list of 50+ thrift shops in the metro area. The seminar will inform students on selecting which tossed items can become their treasure.
The class ends in a pop-quiz field trip to the Secondi consignment shop -- not to be graded but to see if these shoppers can actually sniff out a great deal.
You can register for the course online ($29) at takeaclass.org.
