If you missed out on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, fear not! Friday is the third annual Free Shipping Day.
It’s a one-day shopping event where you can browse through hundreds of retail websites and get your goods without that pesky delivery fee.
Dozens of big-name brands are participating, including Macy’s, Barnes & Noble, Victoria’s Secret and Apple. Along with free shipping, the companies will also guarantee that gifts arrive before Christmas.
Luke Knowles, who founded freeshippingday.com in 2007, said he expects more than 1,000 retailers to participate this year.
Knowles said after consulting with last year’s participating merchants they decided on Dec. 17, since Dec. 18 is the last Saturday before Christmas, and traditionally one of the busiest "in-store" shopping days of the year.
