Lebanese Taverna: Oh Hi, 1980 Prices

So you can totally afford that Metro fare increase now

Lebanese Taverna celebrates 30 years in business by rolling back prices to 1980 standards. Throughout January, Mondays mean you can score select mezzas and entrees at hugely reduced prices -- think hummus for $2.25 and shish kabob for $6.95.

In other words: If you were still getting an allowance from your parents in 1980, you could still probably afford to eat here on Mondays.

The very first Lebanese Taverna opened in Arlington's Westover location, with five more restaurants springing up over the years, plus four cafes and a market (4400 Old Dominion Drive, Arlington).

The deal is good at all six restaurants, including Woodley Park and Arlington.
