Japanese Restos Support With Sushi

Dining for a Cause

This could be one of the most delicious fundraisers ever. Some of D.C.'s top restaurants are dishing up a way to help with relief in Japan.

Executive chef Eric Ziebold of CityZen (1330 Maryland Ave. S.W.) is joining forces with chefs from KAZ Sushi Bistro, Sushi Taro, Kushi, Sei Sushi and Matuba on Monday, April 18.

The event will benefit Relief International's Japanese disaster efforts.

Although the focus of the fundraiser zeroes on in food, the night will also include a silent and live auction. Items up for bid include a private dinner for 10 prepared in-home by Chef Ziebold and CityZen sous chef Makoto Hamamura.

Tickets are a bit steep at $250, but 100 percent of the proceeds benefit Relief International.
