So Urbana Restaurant and Wine Bar (2121 P St. N.W.) wants to promote its new lunch menu. Good for them, right? Sure... and good for everyone else. The spot's giving away 300 bagged lunches on April Fools Day -- but this is no joke.
The lunches include a pulled pork parmesan sandwich (made with braised pork shoulder, Bolognese sauce, mozzarella and radicchio), a dilled pickle, a chocolate chip cookie and a bottle of water.
The bags will be available from 11:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis. But when they're out, they're out, so plan accordingly, or pay for your own darn food.
