Girl Scouts Getting Stingy

If you find your Girl Scout cookies not lasting as long as they usually do, you're not losing your mind.

To keep prices at $3.50 a box, fewer cookies were packaged into Thin Mints, Do-si-dos and Tagalongs boxes this year, and the Lemon Chalet Crème cookies were resized to compensate for the rising cost of baking staples, according to The Dallas News.

Using cheaper ingredients or raising prices were also options, but were rejected.

Every year I buy a few boxes when the scouts are out selling boxes in front of the Wal-mart in Alexandria. Now, I'll just have to buy a few more.
