News of a new coffee shop headed to Petworth as been brewing.
Fresh of the Roast plans to open shop on Georgia Ave. in late December or early January.
"The company was developed to sell small-batch, artisan roasted coffee directly to the public," states their website. "You will never see Fresh Off the Roast sitting (for who knows how long) on store shelves. Every bag of coffee I sell is roast dated and delivered into the hands of my customers within just one or two days of roasting," says the owner.
