First Couple Dines Out in Dupont Circle

President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, went out for dinner on a pleasant evening in Washington.

The Obamas arrived Friday at Komi restaurant, near Dupont Circle, surprising diners and passersby who cheered and took
photos.

The Obamas were sent off by a cheering crowd of more than 200 people, who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the first couple.

Komi serves mainly Greek and Mediterranean dishes.

The Obamas will see little of each other this weekend. The first lady is the commencement speaker Saturday at the University of
Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The president on Sunday will deliver the commencement address at Hampton University in Hampton, Va.
