A local bakery in McLean is cashing in on the inauguration.
Lara Stuckey, the owner of Fluffy Thoughts Bakery, has been selling Obama sweets since the start of the election, the Washingtonian reported.
Her most popular item is the Obama cupcake, which sells for $4. Each cupcake features the famous Sheppard Ferry Obama image and takes about 10 minutes to create, according to the Washingtonian.
Several inaugural-ball hosts have arranged for Stuckey to supply their balls with desserts, such as the Pennsylvania State Society ball at the Ritz-Carlton.
