More details have been revealed about the planned Friendship Heights restaurant from "Top Chef" alumnus Bryan Voltaggio.

Voltaggio's new 14,000 square-foot restaurant at Chevy Chase Pavilion will be called Range and will open in late fall, the Washington Business Journal reports.

"The restaurant will focus on lesser-used cuts of meat, game, fowl and seafood [and] will promote the use of the whole animal," wrote WBJ's Missy Frederic.

This will be Voltaggio's second restaurant and first in D.C. He is currently the co-owner and executive chef at Volt Restaurant in Frederick and appeared as a finalist on the sixth season of the Bravo reality program in 2009.

The opening of Range had been originally planned for this spring.
