A Wild, Wild, West-ern Time

Ever sit and wonder what it would be like to live during the time of cowboys and bar fights in rustic saloons? If so, Mr. Smith's of Georgetown is the perfect location to spend your next night on the town.
Located in the heart of D.C.'s historic district, Mr. Smith's offers a casual atmosphere that is much like that of an old-school bar scene in an old Western drama. The restaurant is decked out with antique mirrors and Tiffany lamps, showcasing a Victorian-inspired decor. The quaint setting is coupled by a small, close-knit staff of a Scottish bartender, an Irish bartender, chef and senior manager, both of whom have been with the restaurant for more than 25 years. The vintage bar, where the two famous bartenders sling bottles to whip up drinks faster than bullets fly in a duel, also adds a hint of wild wild west to the dining experience.
But don't worry about dodging bullets here. Mr. Smith's claim to fame is that it is "the friendliest saloon in town." Customers feel at home with offers of homemade dishes at reasonable prices. And if that's not welcoming enough, guests can gallop across the room to bust a tune at the Sing-a-Long Piano Bar or float into the secret garden patio, which seats more than 150. The hidden garden is equipped with an electronic roof, which opens to take in the balmy sky, and gas coach lamps put you in the scene of a classic wagon ride. A wall-to-wall mural and relaxing music also add to the ambiance ... and the fun.
The best thing about this place are the deals. You can enjoy daily food and beer specials and forget about ever breaking the bank with a silly cover charge. With great deals and an atmosphere to match, Mr. Smith's is the place to go for great food and fun.
