WASHINGTON -- Style icon -- and first lady -- Michelle Obama will grace the cover of the March issue of Vogue magazine, the Washington Post reported.
She posed for photographer Annie Leibovitz last month at the Hay-Adams Hotel, where the first family stayed before the inauguration.
The first lady wore a silk dress designed by Jason Wu, who also designed her inaugural gown.
Vogue has photographed first ladies for years, but Obama is only the second to appear on the cover. Hillary Rodham Clinton was the first.
It's unknown if Laura Bush was skipped because of fashion sense or politics.
