From the family that brought you Ben’s Chili Bowl comes DC’s newest venture appropriately named Next Door.
The bar/grille opened this past December and has already become a popular spot on the weekends.
Slightly more upscale than its neighbor, Next Door has one of the longest bars in the District at 53-feet long complete with flat screen TVs. The establishment also features specialty cocktails and ten different draft lines.
The menu includes an array of comfort foods from signature dishes like ravioli stuffed with mascarpone to Ben’s originals. The kitchen staff is headed by recent "Hell's Kitchen" winner chef Rahman "Rock" Harper. Previously, he served as the Executive Chef at B. Smith’s in Union Station and the head chef at Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas.
