So it should come as no big shock that a mid-year D.C. Twestival is coming to the third floor of the newly launched MidTown Loft (1219 Connecticut Ave. N.W.) this Thursday, Sept. 10 from 7-11 p.m.
Expect drink specials, snackies, music and the chance to chat with techies, media mavens and folks from the nonprofit world, too. And did we mention there will be a whole LOT of Twitter-ers -- uh, sorry, we meet tweeple.
We haven't heard yet whether party-goers are planning to actually speak to each other, or just beam messages to each other via handheld devices, but we think it's important to leave some mystery to the event.
Tickets are $20 in advance; $30 the day of the event, and it all benefits Miriam's Kitchen.
