They're Baaaack!

White House party crashers speak again

Thought you’d seen the last of the Salahis? Think again! America’s favorite (alleged) White House State Dinner party crashers are talking. And they’re talking -- about not being able to talk!

Michaele and Tareq Salahi sat down with Matt Lauer Tuesday morning on the "TODAY" Show. They listened to many of Matt’s questions. Answering some of them, however, was a very different story.

On reports that someone told her to lie and say she had an invitation to November's state dinner:

Michaele Salahi: “I was asked to say that to go along with something and the stylist I had just met five minutes prior. And I asked her…”
Matt Lauer: “Asked by who to say that?”
Michaele Salahi: “We’ll just have to wait and see. I can’t share that.”

On speculation that the Salahis will be part of the upcoming series "The Real Houswives of D.C.":

Michaele Salahi: “I love the Housewives series, and if they’re doing a show, I’ll watch.”
Matt Lauer: “You’ll watch or be part of it.”
Michaele Salahi: “We’ll have to wait and see what happens.”

The Salahis still maintain they’ve broken no laws. They want an apology from the media for the treatment they’ve received, and they say they actually want to apologize to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for what their party-crashing scandal has done to them.

“We’re sorry to the president and first lady for this situation… this storm of media.”

We’ll keep you posted if the Obamas actually accept that apology.
