No matter how you feel about D.C. Councilman Marion Barry, you have to agree the man is a character. These days, being a character seems to be enough to earn a person a shot at a TV reality show.
It was rumored last year that Barry would have a television crew follow him around. Now, some clips have surfaced online.
They are entitled “The Reality of Marion Barry.” Local documentary filmmaker Kirk Fraser is the one behind the lens.
One of the clips shows a closed-door meeting on the day Barry was censured by the council. In another, Barry pays a visit to a social services center in the city.
It’s not clear if these clips are going be enough to get Barry a reality show. Watch them below to see for yourself (warning: strong language):
