The annual Lawyers Have Heart 10K Run & Fun Walk is this Saturday, June 11 to benefit the American Heart Association and to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke. For every dollar raised, 88 cents will be donated to the AHA.
The race kicks off from the Washington Harbour (3050 K St. N.W.) at 7:30 a.m and will begin in two waves, with runners first. Participants will follow the Potomac and travel through Georgetown.
You can register online for $45. Yep, even if you're not a lawyer, although we know in D.C., that's a rarity.
