Do you want to watch the Grammys this year in style?
Well, we hope you have an extra $54,000 lying around! The uber-chic Donovan House (1155 14th St. NW) is offering an exclusive Grammy hotel package.
For your hard-earned cash, here's what you get: two round-trip, first class tickets from any city in the U.S. and a five-night stay in the hotel’s 1,230-square-foot Donovan Suite. But wait -- that’s just the beginning... the fun doesn’t stop there.
The package also includes a private dinner for 10 at famed Chef Susur Lee’s Zentan restaurant; a pre-Grammy makeover for two at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa; a 24-hour personal chauffeur and butler service, and a $10,000 shopping spree to some of your favorite designer shops in Georgetown and Tysons Corner.
Guests will also receive a Grammy swag bag complete with two iPhone 4S... 4S's? 4Ses?... and $2,500 worth of goodies, plus exclusive access to the hotel’s rooftop bar, for you and 10 friends to watch the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 12.
A rep from the Donovan House tells us there are no buyers as of yet. We’ll see if any “lucky” people plunk down the equivalent of an excellent house down payment.
Oh, to live the good life... at least for a few days.
For those who are interested (anyone? anyone?), the package is available any five nights that fall over Sunday, Feb. 12, based on availability. The hotel will donate 10 percent of the cost of the package to the charity of the buyer's choice.
