You can't get much more quintessential D.C. foodie than combining a craft beer dinner with food trucks. OK, you could, but only if cupcakes were somehow involved.
Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada are holding, yes, a Food Truck Beer Dinner this Saturday, Aug. 27 at Das Bullpen (25 M St. S.E.).
Beer and food truck pairings includ CapMac with Dogfish Head Vintage Olde School Barleywine, Porcmobile with Dogfish Head/Sierra Nevada Life & Limb, and Eat Wonky with Sierra Nevada Vienna Style Lager. There are seven pairings in all, so we suggest you maybe not eat for about 24 hours in advance. Just a though.
All proceeds will benefit Living Classrooms. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m.; you can order tickets ($75 each) here.
