Alan Jackson is holding a contest for a free concert on the website Eventful.com.
The town with the most votes by Oct. 10 will get a special visit from the country star.
Right now, Mineral, Va., is leading the way with more than 24,500 votes as of Monday morning. Mineral was, as you probably remember, the epicenter of the East Coast's 5.8-magnitude eartquake in August, not to mention more than 20 aftershocks.
The Kansas City metro area is second with slightly more than 7,800 votes.
