In the D.C. area, Memorial Day weekend means motorcycles (and lots of them).
Bikers from across the country are expected to arrive in the area for Sunday's annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally in support of military veterans and those missing in action.

In Fairfax, the Rolling Thunder rally is preceded by the Ride of the Patriots, sponsored by the local Harley dealership.

Fairfax Police will implement rolling road closures on Fairfax Boulevard Sunday morning, reducing eastbound and westbound traffic to one lane each.
Then, in Arlington, the 25th annual Rolling Thunder rally begins Sunday near the Pentagon. Roughly 400,000 bikers will ride from there to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Arlington Police plan to close Washington Boulevard from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday between I-395 and the Memorial Bridge.

Also, Arlington National Cemetery will only be accessible from southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway or northbound Route 110.
