Madonna's Ready to Rock the Verizon Center

New tour includes a stop in D.C. on Sept. 23

Madonna's not finished with stadiums.

Coming on the heels of Sunday's Super Bowl half-time show, Madge's new tour will include a stop at the Verizon Center on Sunday, Sept. 23. CITI Card members can snap up presale tickets starting Wednesday... and fan club members can shop today if they have a special passwod.

Everyone else will have to wait until Monday, Feb. 13. Tickets range from $107.50 to $390 on Ticketmaster, including fees.

VIP packages will also be available, although the prices are not viewable for us mere mortals (those not in the fan club). The Ultimate Package includes a front-row ticket, a pre-party, a "specially designed" concert shirt, an on-site VIP host, and a bunch of memorabilia. The VIP Party Package will include much of that, excluding the front-row status. Instead, you'll be in the first 10 rows. Poor, poor you.

Moving on: This will be Madonna's first tour since 2009. It's due to begin May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel. She'll meander through Europe before beginning the U.S. leg in Philadelphia on Aug. 28.

The North American portion of the tour will hit dozens of cities, including New York, Chicago and Boston, as well at spots in South America and Australia. Madonna's last tour, 2008-2009's "Sticky & Sweet," grossed more than $400 million.

Her new album, "MDNA," is scheduled for release March 26.
