“The Real World” WAKA

WASHINGTON -- D.C. is buzzing, again, about the possibility of finally hosting "The Real World" after reports last week of a job posting for a local position with a major reality TV series.

Why this excites people and how the show -- or MTV, for that matter -- remains on the air is beyond us, but we do think The 42 is funny. Today the blog mused what the show would be like in various neighborhoods throughout the city.

We agree that Adams Morgan pretty much is the perfect neighborhood for the show -- we don't imagine they'll set up outside the city in Clarendon or Georgetown or anywhere else in Virginia -- so we look forward to seeing those ugly pastel kickball T-shirts all over the show. If we can find MTV on the dial.
