The amount of drunkards who took advantage of free taxi cabs on St. Patrick's Day nearly doubled this year, with more than 400 people hitching a ride after their festivities ended.
That blew away the 2007 SoberRide total of 218.
So was it due to more publicity for the program or better execution of the program?
