Lost and FOUND

Old notes make interesting news

What's better then backpacking across the country armed with nothing more then a hope...a dream...and a few old discarded notes found on the ground? Yep, that's what Davy Rothbart and his brother Peter do every year in hopes of spreading good cheer, and of course, getting attention for their publication FOUND Magazine in the process.

The mag takes the saying "one man's trash is another man's treasure" literally by publishing old letters and notes found on the street all over the world. The latest brainchild of the dynamic duo is a book entitled Requiem for a Paper Bag, a collection of stories about lost items.

On Sunday, the pair's cross-country tour hits D.C. at the Warehouse Theater. Their show promises to be a fun, laugh-out-loud time. Along with a dramatic reading of many of the lost letters collected by the brothers, they also encourage audience participation and note reading.

So, don't forget to bring the found letters you've collected!

Admission is $10 and the show starts at 8 p.m.
