Comic Book Conspiracy

Counter Culture Festival is Sunday

And you thought having the word "conspiracy" in a title was just an indie rock thing. DC Conspiracy isn't a hipster band struggling to score free beers at DC9. They're actually far, far geekier. No, wait, we didn't say that.

The group of local comics artists is holding their fourth annual Counter Culture Festival this Sunday, May 24, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at The Soundry (316 Dominion Road, Vienna, VA).

Mix and mingle with local comic book artists, and soak up alternative art, live entertainment, workshops and what they promise to be "mayhem," according to the official Web site.

At any rate, you can get a really, really cool T-shirt.
