A-list Celebs Bringing Star Power to D.C.

Oprah, Denzel, and Hanks are definites. Madonna and Brangelina might even show up.

Hollywood is heading to Washington.  A-list celebs like Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington are expected to attend some of the inaugural events in the District over the next several days.  It's even rumored that Madonna and Brangelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) may all come to town.

Of course Springsteen, Beyonce, U2, and Usher are just some of the big names that'll be performing at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday

Mega-star Oprah Winfrey is leaving Chicago for the District and will make the most of her time by hosting two shows chock full of music and celebrities

On Monday, she'll broadcast from the Kennedy Center Opera House. Stars expected to show include Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher and Scarlett Johansson. But the big draw will be the music. Bono, Will.i.am, Faith Hill, Seal, David Foster and Mary J. Blige will sing a new song dedicated to President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration, according to Access Hollywood.

On Wednesday, Oprah's show will be live from the Art and Soul restaurant on New Jersey Avenue in Northwest, which is owned by her former chef, Art Smith. She'll look back at the inauguration with Forest Whitaker, Jon Bon Jovi, Gayle King, Ali Wentworth and presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.

If you're looking for tickets to either event, well, they're both sold out.  But you can always try Craigslist.  A local dentist is already offering free braces for a ticket, so you'll have to better that offer.

Oh and as for Oprah's plans for Inauguration Day?  They haven't been announced, but we're guessing she'll be watching the festivities.

Just a hunch...
