Seattle, WA was found to be the best city for trick-or-treating. While kids would argue the only important factor involved in trick-or-treating is the amount of candy amassed, the people at Zillow.com put some importance on a few different factors. Based on home value index, population density, walk score and local crime data, they predicted the cities that will provide the most candy, with the least walking and safety risks.

The top ten list is dominated by west coast cities. However, even though D.C. kids may not be at the top of the list, Halloween revelers certainly aren’t getting tricked. Washington, D.C. comes in tenth, the second highest ranking east coast city. Boston, MA comes in eighth.

Unfortunately for the southwestern ghouls and ghosts, the bottom three cities are Austin, TX, San Antonio, TX and Phoneiz, AZ.
