Sandlot Southeast

A former bar on Potomac Avenue will soon be known expanded to “Sandlot Southeast,” a venue for Black-owned restaurants to have a rent-free kitchen to showcase their food in partnership with a social equity program from Uber Eats.

The new venue will take over a former bar and become a space for Black-owned businesses to share their plates in an area they’re not well represented. News4’s Derrick Ward reports.
