Police in Maryland tweeted a warning about buskers who aren’t really playing the violins they’re holding.

Montgomery County police are clearing up some confusion after they tweeted that a national panhandle scam has hit our local streets. They say there was confusion when they tweeted about the scam, showing a violin playing panhandler. They say that some of these panhandlers can’t actually play the violin and are scamming people out of money.
