The 28th Critics Choice Awards had Hollywood’s biggest stars hitting the red carpet last night as many of them were up for nominations this year. George Clooney was among the honorees at the 45th annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C. on Sunday, and Julia Roberts celebrated his achievement with a gown covered in photos of the actor.

The actor’s parents — Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts — became good friends with the civil rights leaders in the 1960s.

The actors revealed the most “ridiculous” part of filming their newest rom-com, “Ticket to Paradise.”
