The awards honor the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio’s stations and app

Fans of Usher will not have to wait any longer for the sequel to his career-propelling 2004 album “Confessions.”

Usher hosted this year’s star-studded event, which kicked off from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday and aired live on FOX at 8 p.m. EST/PST.

The Weeknd, Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch are among the top nominees for next month’s iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Eilish will face off against Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Halsey and Ariana Grande for female artist of the year. For the men’s top artist award, Ed Sheeran, Khalid, Luke Combs, Post Malone and Mendes will vie for the honor.
