The Maryland gas tax holiday came to an end Saturday night, and that 36 cents a gallon drivers were saving for the last 30 days is once again being collected by the state.

Maryland and Virginia lawmakers are taking steps to provide drivers with relief from skyrocketing gas prices. News4’s Juliana Valencia reports.

Ride shares and taxis are adding surcharges to help drivers with the high gas prices. Transportation Reporter Adam Tuss reports both Maryland and Virginia are considering gas tax holidays to help ease the burden.
