Two school systems will start on a two-hour delay and one high school canceled classes on Monday.

During a soccer game between Albert Einstein and Sherwood high schools in Montgomery County, both schools confirm racist remarks from Sherwood’s student cheering section were directed toward Einstein players. News4’s Darcy Spencer reports.

Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, Maryland has seen a recent influx of students delivering their lunches to campus. School administrators have had to take some extra steps to discourage students from ordering fast food to the school grounds, as it creates a serious safety issue, they said.

More than 350 firearms have been lost or stolen from local and federal police agencies headquartered in the Washington, D.C., area since 2011, according to an investigation by the News4 I-Team.

Mario Alvarado, of Wheaton, was arrested near Albert Einstein High School on Monday, police said.
