Registration for the walk will remain open for the next six weeks.

The walk is Whitman-Walker Health's signature fundraiser, calling on D.C.-area residents to walk or run to support their mission of providing health care to those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS, organizers say.

The walk will begin and end at Freedom Plaza (Pennsylvania Avenue and 13th Street NW). The closest Metro stations are Federal Triangle and Metro Center.
