    Carol Maloney

    Carol Maloney is a News4 sports anchor and reporter.

    Carol spent eleven years covering sports in the Washington area for Comcast SportsNet. She spent time anchoring and also reporting on all the major teams in town. She worked as a beat reporter for the Capitals, Orioles and the Maryland Football team while also covering in-game/sideline reporting for them. Carol also filled in broadcasts of Wizards and Mystics games.

    You may have heard Carol on the radio on ESPN 980 when she was a regular guest on "SportsReporters" with Andy Polin and Steve Czaben. She has also co-hosted shows called "The Feldman and Maloney Show" and "Live with Andy and Carol".

    Carol was born and raised in Iowa. She graduated from Drake University and worked as a one man band (photographer, editor and reporter) for a number of years in TV stations around Iowa. She then moved to Denver, spending three years with 9News where she won an Edward R. Murrow award for best sports reporting.

    Carol lives in Kensington, Maryland with her husband, two kids and two dogs.
