Inert Land Mines Found in Luggage at Utah Airport

Disabled mines were bought as souvenirs

Inert land mines did not make it pass security at Salt Lake City International Airport two weeks ago.

Four flights were delayed for about 20 minutes after Transportation Security Officials found the four land mines in luggage, reports The Associated Press.

TSA officials say that the disabled explosives were bought as souvenirs by a member of the military who was training in Utah. They were determined to be not dangerous.

No charges are expected and the passenger was allowed to board the plane.
