Wizards Have Second-Best Chance to Earn First Pick in NBA Draft

Now that the NBA regular season is over, those teams that did not qualify for the postseason can look ahead to next season.

One of those teams is the Washington Wizards, which, because of its 20-46 finish, earned the right to have the second-best chance to snag the No. 1 overall pick in June's NBA Draft.

Washington has a 19.9 percent chance to eearn the right to select Kentucky forward Anthony Davis, who is the consensus top prospect in the draft. The only team with a better chance than the Wizards is the Charlotte Bobcats, which has a 25 percent chance after only winning seven games this season. The Wizards can also not fall lower than fifth.

Despite doing the worst possible thing they could do at the end of the season -- winning (six straight, to be exact) -- the Wizards will get a chance to continue their rebuild.

The Draft Lottery takes place May 30 in scencic Secaucus, N.J.
