We continue with Week 2.
Week 2 opponent: Green Bay Packers
Game information: Sunday, Sept. 15 -- Lambeau Field -- 1:00 p.m. -- FOX
Last week: Both teams' season openers probably could have gone better. The Redskins found themselves down 33-7 to Chip Kelly's high-flying Eagles in the third quarter before making the final score slightly more respectable in a 33-27 loss. Meanwhile, the Packers traveled to San Francisco, but could not avenge last season's playoff loss to the 49ers as Colin Kaepernick and Anquan Boldin went off in a 34-28 victory.
What's the skinny?: One week after allowing a read-option offense with a quarterback known for his mobility run wild on them, the Packers will have to face a similar situation against the Redskins. During last season's postseason matchup, Kaepernick ran for an NFL quarterback-record 181 yards, and to their credit, the Packers held him to just 22 last week. Problem is is that Green Bay allowed Kaepernick to throw for a career-high 412 yards and three touchdowns, 208 of which were earned by Boldin on 13 catches.

The Packers will certainly look to rectify those mistakes against Robert Griffin III, who poses the same dual threat. Griffin shook off the cobwebs to finish 30-for-49 for 329 yards -- all career-highs -- two touchdowns and two interceptions. Griffin's counterpart, Aaron Rodgers, threw for three touchdowns and will play a defense that allowed the third-most passing yards last season.
The story of this game, however, is the fact that one of these two teams, projected by many to win their respective divisions, will fall to 0-2 to start the season.
Statistic(s) Of The Week: Not only are the Packers winners of 20 of their last 21 games at Lambeau Field, but they are 3-0 in their last three home meetings against the Redskins since 2001, outscoring them by a combined 84-23. There should be a sense of urgency, considering that since 1990, only 12 percent of teams that have started 0-2 have qualified for the playoffs.
