Robert Griffin III Grants Lateef Brock's Wish on ESPN's “My Wish” Series

After this summer's deluge of Robert Griffin III-related nonsense, it brings me great pleasure to bring you a story that does not feature the words "rift," "trust," "major knee injury," or Mike Shanahan. Except for just now.

As part of ESPN and Make-A-Wish Foundation's "My Wish" series, RGIII spent a June day with eight-year-old Lateef Brock of Clinton, Md., who wanted nothing more than to meet his favorite player from his favorite team.

Brock was born with a form of bladder dysfunction, which seriously damaged his kidneys, and was later diagnosed with end stage renal disease, an incurable disease that would require a kidney transplant. In November 2012, Brock received that successful transplant, and after two months of infections connected to his bladder condition, he was back in school.

During minicamp in June, Brock signed a contract with GM Bruce Allen, who gave him a signing bonus of candy, received his own locker and played catch with Griffin.

But enough of me, watch it all below.
